1 cup white sugar = 1 cup unsulfured molasses

or 3/4 cup unsulfured molasses and 1/4 cup blackstrap molasses

reduce liquid in recipe by 1/4 cup per cup of sweetener used when using in recipes where substituting for sugar.

1 cup white sugar = 1 cup sorghum syrup

1 cup white sugar = 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups maple syrup (also carob and malt sugars)

1 cup brown sugar = 1 cup date sugar
