Ingredients
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 cups whole wheat kernels
Directions
In a bowl, mix corn oil, water, salt. Mix in about 4 cups wholewheat flour to make a stiff dough, Knead smooth. Cover and leave 24 hours. Meanwhile, soak wheat kernals in 2 cups water with dough. Form into 2 loaves, set on baking sheet. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours at 325.
