Ingredients
- 5 pounds hamburger
- 1/4 teaspoon ascorbic acid crystals
- 4 tablespoons Morton Tender Quick
- 3 or less tablespoons pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns, crushed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons hickory smoked salt
- 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
Directions
Mix and refrigerate 24 hours, Remix and refrigerate another 24 hours. Mix and make into six rolls, each 1 foot long. Bake on broiler pan (rack) for 8 - 9 hours at 150 degrees. Do not cover.
