Taco Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkery or chuck
- 1 head lettuce, shredded
- 1-2 tomatoes
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1 bottle-not all of it catalina dressing
- salsa
- sour cream
- black olives
- 1 package taco seasoning
Directions
Fry the meat and pour off any excess fat. Add the package of taco seasoning mix and stir . Add some water - whatever the package says, but not so much or it will be too watery. Chop up enough lettuce for a hefty amount for each person. Add some chopped tomatoes. You can add avocado and green onions and black olives. Add part of the bottle of salad dressing - maybe 1/3. Whether you add the salad dressing or not doesn't seem to make much difference. Crush about 1/2 the bag of tortilla chips and add as much as you like. Mix it all together and serve with salsa and sour cream. Both are optional but necessary. Cheese gets added also.
