Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup dark molasses
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 beaten egg
Directions
Mix flour, brown sugar and butter into crumbs. Set half aside. Mix molasses, water, baking soda, and egg. Then mix together with half the crumbs. Put in shell and cover with remaining crumbs. Bake 11 minutes at 375 degrees or 30 minutes at 350 degrees. I'm not sure this makes sense with the time and temperature. Play this one by ear. It may be 11 minutes at 375 and 30 minutes at 350.
