Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 pound can sour cherries
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
Melt butter in 9" square pan. In bowl combine sugar, flour, baking powder and milk. Mix to blend well. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Pour undrained cherries over batter. Do not stir. Sprinkle sugar over cherries. Do not stir. Bake 325 degrees 1 hour.
