Ingredients
3 Tablespoons Olive oil
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Cans Chickpeas + aquafaba
1 Teaspoon Ground cumin
2 Tablespoons Tahini
2 Tablespoons Yoghurt
1 Juiced Lemon
Salt to taste
Directions
1. Cook minced garlic in olive oil until it starts to brown
2. Add 2 whole cans of chickpeas into the pan. Add ground cumin and allow to simmer.
3. Reduce the chickpea liquid by half.
4. Meanwhile add tahini and lemon juice to a bowl; mix thoroughly; add yoghurt to the mixture and a pinch of salt. Stir in.
5. Strain the chickpeas over the tahini mixture and mix together the tahini mixture and the chickpea liquid.
6. Add the chickpeas to the bowl and mash them or use an immersion blender.
7. Serve with whatever topping you like.
Topping- za’atar, pine nuts, parsley, toasted paprika
