Ingredients
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup ham strips
- 1/2 cup bamboo shoots in strips
- 1/2 cup bean curd cut in strips
- 3 soaked dried chinese mushrooms - stripped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 green pepper, in strips
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- few drops tabasco
Directions
Bring 5 cups chicken broth to a boil. Add ham strips, bamboo shoots, bean curd, mushrooms(destemmed). Reduce heat and simmer 5-6- minutes. Stir in soy sauce, salt, vinegar, white pepper. Add cornstarch which has been mixed with water and stir until thickened. Add green pepper and the eggs. Stir for 30 seconds and add the sesame oil and if desired, the tabasco.
