Sesame Bulgur Pilaf

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup butter or oil
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 pound small whole button mushrooms
- 2 cups medium bulgur
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
- or
- 2 10 oz. cans beef boullion plus water to 3 1/2 cups
- 1 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
Directions
Toast sesame seeds in 10 - 12 inch fry pan until golden: 2 minutes, shaking pan. Set aside. Melt butter in fry pan, add onion, garlic and mushrooms. Cook until onion is golden and mushroom lilquid has evaporated. Add bulgur and sesame seeds, stir until coated with butter. Add broth and parsley. Stir to blend and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender. About 15 minutes.
