Ingredients
- FILLING
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup (4oz) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup hickory or reg bbq sauce
- 1 1/2 cups, 12 oz mexican whole kernel corn
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- CRUST
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup (4oz) shredded cheddar (divided)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 beaten egg

Directions
Serves 6-8 Brown ground beef, drain. Stir in the remaining filling ingredients and set aside. To make the crust, stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder, cut in butter. Blend in remaining crust ingredients except 1/2 cup of the cheese. Spread crust mixture over the bottom and sides of a greased(not oiled) 9" square baking pan. Pour filling into crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with reserved cheese during last few minutes of baking.
